I have used this joke before. I feel like I've seen a neon sign of theirs separated into a "Pope" half and a "yes" half, so when it starts to go out one half might start blinking

They still are named that in St. Louis fwiw. Also, I used to love going there for a panini, but then they got rid of the panini makers and replaced them on the menu with regular sandwiches, but those obviously aren't the same.

He had zero reason to take a partial lead on a 400-foot fly ball, but I'm glad he did. Of course it's all a moot point in the end. Hopefully tonight is better (and Thursday when I'm at the game).

When I worked in a sawmill, we would cut boards into two thicknesses, 1.5" thick and 1.25" thick. There wasn't some complex reason involving extra planing that resulted in those sizes; that's just how they were cut.

My dad used to hunt gray squirrels in Northern Wisconsin. He got a black squirrel once and had it mounted because it was such a rare find. (Also they're not bad to eat.)

I'd definitely try it...but it also would have been funny as heck if you went through all that trouble in the video and then just threw it away in the end.
