Playwright: INITIATIVE, TWITCH, THEY LOVE VIOLENCE ~ Actor: Your Pretty Face on Adult Swim, TURN on AMC ~ Audie nominated narrator ~ He/Him ~ ATL
There are no strings attached to that cash. Just “our panel of jurors liked your words. Keep doin’ ‘em.” That means more than I can say. I’m grateful to Edwin Wong, the curator and driver of the competition. His concept of tragedy and risk is compelling and I’d encourage you to give it a look.

Really pleased to tell y’all my play, THEY LOVE VIOLENCE, was just announced as the Grand Prize Winner for the seventh annual Risk Theatre Modern Tragedy Competition. In addition to having a reason to email every artistic director I know, I’ll be the recipient of a cash prize totaling $11,500 CAD.

This screenshot in Nintendo Power made me throw the magazine across the room and avoid the page on every subsequent re-read.

Allaby from Eiyuden Chronicles is just one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. Immediately made me love Garoo (her father) more, and I played through the entire prequel.

Might have had something to do with the fact that my wife was newly pregnant while playing it. Fresh dad feelings.

A couple of very nice recommendations of THEY LOVE VIOLENCE after the reading this weekend. You can read it yourself on New Play Exchange!

We start workshop week tonight for my reading of THEY LOVE VIOLENCE presented by Atlanta's Working Title Playwrights. It's a play about deathmatch wrestling and what we, as artists, give to our art.

I'd love to see you at the reading on 9/15. More info: workingtitleplaywrights.com/programs/eth...

If you were visited by 3 ghosts for Christmas, who would you want them to be?
