Just saw Jake Sherman on Katy Tur laughing at the democrats possibly caving for a ‘promise’ of a vote on subsidies for backing down. The laughing by Tur and Sherman totally inappropriate & insulting. If the Dems back down now, ACA is basically gone. GOP wins, we lose. Hope the report is wrong.

Love the way he gets a plug in for his show. Bravo to the caller. She correctly calls out the double standard applied by many mainstream media outlets. Tapper’s response is that they cover trump daily. But they do not state how erratic trump is & how his answers are word salad and mostly wrong.

The former president was absolutely capable of doing the job. He did it. It is the current occupant who should be evaluated for his capacity to do the job.

This is unbelievable. Video of the incident clearly shows the doors & windows being destroyed by J6 people. Capitol police being beaten. These are not the actions of peaceful protestors or Capitol visitors. I am sorry she lost her life but to pay the family for her bad actions is an insult to all.

We are becoming a nation I don’t recognize anymore and I find myself feeling angry and saddened by how little I am able to do about it. I can’t articulate how much I despise Trump and his ilk and how much they have corrupted so many people in the name of power and money.

That is not my intent. I totally agree with your hypothesis that if J6 was perpetrated by Black folks, it would have ended in bloodshed. My point is that the Dems tried to hold Trump accountable. To paraphrase Obama - don’t compare Biden to the almighty, compare him to the alternative.

Dems try to work across party lines to achieve a consensus. GOP/MAGA prefers Trump’s style of ignoring laws, norms, courts, etc. I am frustrated at times that Dems don’t fight like GOP but I seriously can’t understand this post. Biden didn’t start a war against women, POC. Trump, Elon & GOP did.
