A while back I asked folks why they’re joining Bluesky and the most common response I saw was, “I just want a good place to get my news” and, yall, no. Bad.

Found a fun personnel guide from 1946-47. If you needed to know anything about your kids' teachers, including how to report them to the principal for being late, it's all in here! Includes the day's schedule with times and the cafeteria phone number for every school. #history #saltlakecity #utah

One of my surprise happy reads this year. I'm almost done, but this has been a lovely niche history of how we've evolved our use of a simple notebook over 1000s of years. After inheriting my grandmother's diaries, it has meant so much to be able to hear her words anytime I need. #booksky #history

I was crushed that MLK Day landed on Inauguration Day.
Now I know that it is a gift.

Dr. Martin Luther King is a brilliant light on this profoundly dark day.

He illuminates our path forward with hope, as we embrace his teachings of love, diversity, & unity.

He fuels our collective strength.

First book of the year was really interesting, sometimes uncomfortable, and a great look at ethics when it comes to archives and curation of objects. Highly recommend.
