This fellow intuitively persevered to solve the puzzle before him. Likewise, given the chance, most Americans individually strive to do his/her best and to do right by others. We need to get back to living that mindset vs settling for the easy, selfish, self-centered outcome. And leadership matters.

More personal ownership of the many challenges set before us is so desperately needed. To those who lead us: Please focus more on replicating what actually makes our people great and less on the toady catch-phrases.

It's the everyday pivots we all make, as individuals and collectively as a nation, that keeps America the amazingly unique beacon of opportunity on this planet.

Creative ingenuity is in our DNA. A certain political group popularized a certain throwaway four-letter slogan. It only serves to disparage the reality of our inbred spirit of continual innovation.
