I did notice that the processing time appeared to get exponentially longer based on how many assets were being processed and there was some variance to the crash threshold - likely due to referenced textures bloating the memory cost of the action.

I've had to do this a bunch on previous projects and I always had crashes doing it on more than like 30 materials at a time. I think it's because the action has to load the entire selection, then perfrom the action, rather than loading, performing action, then unloading each asset.
