It takes a lot of anticipation away from the Oscars. The only hint of uncertainty is Gladstone/Stone for Best Actress. All the other big awards seem like a done deal at this point.

We’ve been lucky so far in that our right-wing candidates have been dumb even by GOP standards (telling people right after a parade shooting to move on). But we have a strong right-wing faction, and we could go red if they get anyone remotely competent to run against Pritzker.
