It was definitely a bad call! But the run at second was the only one that mattered, so it didn’t actually hurt Detroit at all to put Robles on.

Particularly at a position of need (SP, catcher, 1B). I’d also love them to get a legit fielding SS and move CJ to 2nd where I think he could even excel defensively.

Yeah the upside is limited but you can do worse at catcher than a guy who gets on base and runs well. I’d rather see a Millas/Adams split than more Ruiz.
