I am sickened by this news—just spent a lovely week at NARA a month ago and was looking forward to returning. The staff there was so helpful and supportive i can only imagine how upset they are about this change in policy.

Office design realness circa 1979--extension cords, power strips, and loose wires, all typical in offices of this period because there was a growing need for electricity in office workstations and never enough outlets.
