Listening to the “uf dem anger” (on the green) movement of Carmina Burana from the lawn of the Pritzger Pavilion while little kids dance around in the grass is delightfully meta and I love it. ❤️

We should all be this excited about the journey…😆❤️

Not much is more fun than visiting in real life the places my fictional characters like to hang out.

Cool things about being a writer #46: you can find the best remote offices.

I hope this isn’t a sign of how interesting my book is NOT…he doesn’t seem engaged in the narrative…😆

The office interns these days just seem to lack motivation…

I should be working. I should be editing. But how can I focus on anything practical and sensible when this new little guy has joined our household and 24/7 snuggles are his desire?

I love it when a photo clearly has a whole story behind it, just waiting to be told…

Bye. For now. ❤️

Regular reminder. Never occurred to me how much this sign on the Ocean City MD Boardwalk resonates with the life of a writer.

Controversial take?: in this age of ChatGPT and various AI options being thrust upon us...

I sort of miss Clippy.

Doing the "find photos for mental images of my characters" part of plotting the new book, and realized one of them looks a lot like Ralph Fiennes. I found my image, but realized I'd COMPLETELY forgotten what an unprecedented hottie he was 30 years ago...I mean, LOOK.

(He's still fabulous. 😍)

Yesterday we said good-by to the sweetest little fur-faced girl I’ve ever lived with. Mindy was 18, and she stubbornly clung to the things she loved best in life (food, and human laps) as long as she could…the house is colder without her.
February 19, 2025 at 4:11 PM
Mindy does not like them, which is too bad because she really needs them. (Also would love a link to where you get these—everything we try is too short for dachshund-shaped feet!)
