I don’t see Panthers much as 49er fan, but to be fair coach abandoned the run early even though they were getting about 6 yards a carry on Niners. Malpractice to not run Dowdle on first and one near goaline. The better teams have more balance, even when behind; bad coaches panic & pass every down.

Keegan’s always had this ability but has been the 4th or 5th option; his great scoring games in past were usually when Fox or somebody else was out with an injury. The fact that Murray didn’t get a single vote for all NBA defense last year is BS; he’s on par with Camara, who made second team.

Great game by Keegan and the whole team. I was at Atlanta game, which was a farce as was Memphis yet the King’s tonight looked great. The defense was excellent all game, hung around and made plays to win at the end. Wolves were making dumb plays at crunch time like Kings usually do. Good to see.

The way this team is built right now the team is sometimes better with a defensive center who protects the rim - can rim run, etc. Sabonis is a very good player; however, Kings defensively aren’t nearly as good and Sabonis is not very good at winning time; turnovers, bad fouls, etc.

Last year Keegan got zero votes for all NBA defense yet Camara in Portland got 67 votes to be on the 2nd team. No disrespect to Camara, but Keegan‘s right there with him.

6) or fit their teams time line. Go out and get draft capital and target young players like Kuminga, Moody, Ivy, Rollins, Dosunmu, Black, Jaquez, Jovic, etc.

5) full on rebuild or complete tank is a crapshoot; especially with newer rules regarding lottery; OKC has only team who has successfully thanked. Kings have some talented older players that will help teams. The trick is to get back not just picks but younger players who haven’t blossomed yet

4) it negated the process and now Kings are worse with an older team while they were able to add some draft capital and a talented but older scorer in LaVine in Fox trade, it wasn’t close to the best picks or young talent that Spurs had. None of this is Scott Perry’s doing but he has to fix it.
