2/2 I came in and told my husband. He could have gotten mad; he could have brushed it off. He did neither. He went outside, picked up four of the plastic Adirondack chairs we have, and walked them over to the folks taking a break. I'm sure they were stunned. Random acts of kindness. It's a good day.

1/2 My husband is one of the kindest people I've ever known. I was gardening today and watched a small group of Hispanic workers at the development project next door walk over the silt fence and rest under the live oaks in our yard. They saw me and went back to the development side of the fence.

The economy is growing, real wages are rising, inflation has fallen to close to its normal range, unemployment is at near-historic lows, and energy production is at historic highs. The economy has added more than 700k manufacturing jobs among the 16M total created since 2020.

1/2 January 5, 2025-"No U.S. troops are fighting in foreign wars, murders have plummeted, deaths from drug overdoses have dropped sharply, undocumented immigration is below where it was when Trump left office, stocks have just had their best two years since the last century.
