Strange that governments and media keep this quiet about Israel having nukes and are unwilling to fully condemn the way Israel is behaving especially with Gaza!! Probably the West still feeling guilty about not dealing sooner with the nazi holocaust

Putin has already stated that he believes Ukraine is part of Russia and he wants it back. Unlikely Putin will negotiate in good faith nor will he acknowledge the sovereignty of Ukraine

Food Aid should be provided by the UN as they have done in the past. This Israel/US venture is just not doing the job. Aid should be taken to those in need and not the needy going to designated areas across war zones to get the aid.

Good news that the LibDems continue to strengthen in local elections, hopefully they do well in the general election. Shame that the media dwells on the reform lot!!

The real worry is that if Tories all defect to Reform then it is a possibility that NF could at some point become PM. I say encourage people to vote for Labour,LibDems,Greens

If Carney stands up to the Trump antics then this election victory should be regarded as welcome news

If this is Russia then obviously just a try out to see if it works so expect more on more powerful countries such as France, Germany and UK

This is what all tariff targeted countries should do in response to the Trump clowns, push the USA to one side and make deals with others until the USA comes to its senses and removes Trump
April 10, 2025 at 8:51 PM
So what do you suggest they do? My view is negotiate to ease the pressure but work to reduce the need for the US if that's possible?!
April 7, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Buy British, buy European and buy from other countries but not the US
April 3, 2025 at 5:34 PM
Typical Trump to call the tariffs attack on the world as a Liberation Day!! The British government should align itself with true allies...the EU! Starmer wasting energy appeasing Trump to get a deal which will threaten food standards. Great to know that Canada contemplates joining the EU
April 2, 2025 at 3:58 PM
Imperative to educate on the EU so people are not conned by the likes of farage. Pro EU groups should joins forces to campaign and educate
April 1, 2025 at 6:10 PM
The UK needs to strengthen ties with the EU by being part of the customs union and single market. Rejoining will require this country to change,to show serious intent being in the EU and full support from the electorate. edu the people on the EU.
