Yes and this admin is just looking for the way of the least resistance. Assuming it is easier to convey Zelensky than Putin. Trump is a dealmaker, not a peacemaker. Peacemaking is way harder, requires more skin in the game, more nuance and more recognition. Peace won’t happen thanks to Trump.
