The coverup efficiently serves to exacerbate a scandal. 1. Criminals commit to a new criminal conspiracy. 2. The coverup needlessly extends the scandals. 3. The liars have to tell many more stupidities and lies. 4. The coverup effectively proves bad guys original criminality. 5. It proves their
honestly a little surprised that this is getting full scandal treatment from the press and i think one reason is that it is secretive. high ranking officials were *hiding* something and the (idiotic) aphorism that the "cover-up is worse than the crime" has kicked the scandal instinct into gear.

Boris Epshteyn caught flat trying to sell his access to Trump for $30k per month. Trump tightens his embrace on the guy as now Trump can have him indicted any ole time. Boris, caught red handed becomes a perfected loyal henchman. In the mafia you could be a ‘made’ man. This is how con men recruit.

A couple of positive thoughts.
1. Trump is a lame duck - now.
2. Everyone he appoints who is even vaguely famous wants to succeed Trump - making everyone else in the administration the competition.
3. Trump hates and will fire anyone who gets any attention.
4. Con men are inherently inefficient.
