Wife, mom, and retired teacher who fears the direction that we are heading in Canada but wants to THINK (is it true, helpful, inspiring, necessary, or kind)
We spent 10 weeks in North Carolina and Florida last fall/winter and will NOT step foot in the states again until there is a “regime change “. We are so disappointed for ourselves because we were on to a great thing leaving some winter behind but it’s the only decision for us.

Omg…it reminds me of when we were in Nashville in 2015 and a shoe salesperson (who knew we were Canadian) asked us if we were going to vote Trump or Killary?? Even after explaining that we were a completely separate country with our own prime minister, she still thought we should be able to vote.

I think former Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau could tutor him?!?!

I’m trying to cancel but my Disney+ is bundled through my phone provider and I can’t seem to get rid of it without getting rid of the others. Does anyone know if it’s possible to separate bundled subscriptions cause I’d love to send a message to Disney

It’s always been a thing, I think. When I was backpacking in Europe, 30 years ago, I was told to make sure I always wore my Canadian flag on my backpack. As soon as they knew I was Canadian, I was treated like a royal. If they thought I was American, I was only just “tolerated”.

That was crazy! I said to my husband that I couldn’t believe it was already a half hour when the commercial break came. I was so riveted that time stood still.

I had a student try this crap on me once. Wouldn’t pick up his shoes because we pay custodians to do it. Needless to say, when I was through with him, he picked up his shoes, and the shoes of many other kiddos around him just about every day! Such entitlement!

I taught for 34 years. I loved getting a note from a parent and child. There were always lots of gifts too. And in my last few years, there were so many gift cards to the local liquor store!!They must’ve thought I really needed it! Ha ha. But even the simplest handwritten note can mean the most.

This very quote was my cryptoquiz in my daily puzzles today! How ironic and apropos!

She is telling you it’s time for walkies! Our old boy did the same thing with my hiking boot. He would sometimes even drop it on my toe if I didn’t get up fast enough. Well done, Chance!
