Exactly. The Child Care Audits & Investigations Unit (CCAIU) was established in MN over a decade ago in 2013. The Trump Admin wasn't up in arms about it during his first term.

His big argument is that he doesn't see a lot of kids entering the building, therefore fraud. He never acknowledges that it is a holiday break and most little kids have alternative plans for this time period. My family's care center was always empty this time of year. Travel, week w/grandma, etc.

The Dems need to speak up now and tell the Trump Admin to save the old signs, building materials, even letterhead. That way, when the Trump name is stripped back off the buildings, the Republicans can't cry about the waste of taxpayer dollars.

Thank you from Minnesota. It sometimes shocks me how fast the news moved on from this tragedy, so it's nice to know that the victims haven't been completely forgotten.

As a Minnesotan, I have NEVER felt terrorized by the Somali community. I was enraged on their behalf when Trump made those claims, and now my racist extended in-laws in Wisconsin are posting about Minnesota's supposed problem despite never traveling to Minnesota themselves. They'll believe anything.

This reminds of Paul Bunyan Land here in Minnesota. It has a massive talking Paul Bunyan statue. Parents slip the ticket attendant your name and hometown upon entering and Paul will call out a hello to you. As a kid, it was magical!

I believe more would go outside if they felt the rights they held just a year ago still existed. Instead, people are being snatched and swiftly moved around the country. No Miranda rights. No access to a lawyer. No trial. It's a tough place to be, especially for people already living in the margins.
