I've been tracking these same exact items since Donald Trump took office.

These prices can be verified on Publix Instacart. Most of these items are store brands.

Not only is coffee more expensive, they have made the containers smaller.

Inflation?

Donald Trump on 60 Minites stated grocery prices are down. There is no inflation!

I've been monitoring these same items since Jan 20th.

These items cost $56.34 in January now cost $71.21 in November.

I've been following prices since Jan 20th, 2025. Same exact products. There is only one small change. Folgers' coffee reduced the size of packaging.

Over $20 more than 9 months ago.

These 15 grocery items since Jan 20th, 2025, have increased to over $20 more in the past 9 months.

As I continue to monitor grocery prices and sometimes gas prices, here are my latest results. I always check Instacart (Publix).

Prices are up at least 30% across the board.

"I promise to lower prices, day 1".

I've been tracking these same exact items since January 20, 2025. Donald says he was going to lower grocery costs.

Well, the same items as of August 13, 2025, are now $14.50

Last list of prices before the "Tariffs" kick in. Let's see the results of the same items a month from now.

Here is my updated grocery list for today, June 29th, 2025.

Prices up 25% since January 20th, 2025

Gas prices Avr June 2024
$3.39. Today $3.20.

Grocery Prices!

As I normally check prices every now and then. I check them on "Instacart/Publix", I noticed prices have stabilized somewhat until I noticed something. The coffee is now in a smaller can. So buyer beware! It's not a saving when you don't get as much as you used to.

Grocery prices are still going up. All of these prices can be verified on the website Instacart/Publix. Some prices are getting so high that Publix has started to list some items as "each",
such as tomatoes and bananas. This month alone prices were up $6.00.

Great news! Well, maybe not great, kind of mediocre news.

Prices on products that I've been tracking since Jan 20th. Same 16 products, same store (Publix). Have dropped a total of $2.80.

Prices are still up 43% since Jan 20th.

In 2 weeks, the same exact grocery items that I have been tracking have increased by $9.00.
Overall, since Jan 20th, prices have increased 44%.

Oh yeah, cut Social Security, Medicare, and Veteran benefits, too!

End of the month.. going shopping this week. Here are the same exact products as on March 10th. Some are up, and a few are down.
Total= $3.92 more than last time at the same exact store, same exact items.

Making America Affordable again?
When Trump was inaugurated, I checked grocery prices. 15 items that we buy regularly were $56.34. (Jan 2025)
Those same items today are $68.23. (Mar 2025) $11.89 increase. Only Milk and Butter dropped a few pennies.
