Arbor Low in the Peak District is always impressive but even more so from above. Over 4000 years old, these stones were sadly pushed over at some point. The 40 stones are surrounded by an earthen wall and would have been used for ceremonies as well as some burials. #drone #photography #history

Up to Mow Cop castle tonight to watch the sunset. Mow cop itself is a folly but there has been found evidence of a hill fort on this site which offers exceptional views of the local area. those are the Welsh mountains in the distance. #photographers #history #sunset
