also please don't conflate supporting one dem with being a zionist!! as I've stated, what Israel is doing is abhorrent and needs to be stopped as soon as possible. unfortunately, our two-party system doesn't agree. hate to be the bearer of bad news, but nowadays you have to pick a side.

I see where you're coming from! while it'd be absolutely amazing to have a dem who's not a zionist, we live in the very awful reality where that's just so extremely rare. they're also not vocal enough if they do exist, which makes it hard for them to win a primary. 3rd parties are the most vocal.

being a single issue voter isn't gonna get things to change, especially an issue this big that you KNOW both MAJOR parties agree on. why waste your vote on Jill Stein or whoever else when you can get domestic change from an otherwise fine Democrat?

I would rather vote for someone who can drastically change things HERE where I LIVE and actually has a chance of WINNING rather than a party that only shows up every 4 years to make niche talking points to angry people that has a ZERO percent chance of winning.

look, even if he *is* a zionist (which I HIGHLY disagree with), voting third party pro-palestine isn't the way to go. I highly condemn Israel and their genocide on Palestinians, but we can't be single issue voters. elections have nuance, and if you truly think your third party will win, they won't.

if you've ever listened to him debate you'll know how articulate and sincere he is with each word he says. if he says he'll support something then he will. if he says he won't support something then he won't. simple as that.

also he is the type to fight for what he *actually* believes in, so if he *does* get "donors", I think he'll subvert them and push his own, very progressive agenda.

I highly doubt he'll be the type to take "donors" from corporations or whoever you think is donating him money. not to say he's perfect, but i think he'll take money from regular people and close friends rather than big tech or pharma or whatever for his campaign

evaluate him as a politician now is just absurd, in my opinion. people make mistakes and people change. he'd be a strong candidate for President, especially with how the Trump term has gone (and likely will continue to go).

I'll admit the sample size is small! and the margin of error is definitely worth pointing out, but you still can't toss out what seems like a majority of his people siding with him. especially the non-whites, since they tend to be closer knit in smaller towns such as South Bend.
