Catching Moon Hooch in Pittsburgh was a great experience—their energy is infectious, and their sound filled the space in a really cool way. It’s always fun seeing a band that clearly loves what they’re doing. (Yes, they’re serenading a tree.)

It turned out to be Se7en Day. I watched the film in IMAX and got the 4K the same day. I have always believed that Se7en showcased Fincher's talents in a way that ALIEN3 never would. Obviously. Se7en allowed him to develop his skills, which continued to evolve with Zodiac*.

Best of 2024 as of this exact moment. I still didn’t see Anora, the Brutalist, Flow, Nickel Boys, A Real Pain, etc., so not a definitive list. My favorite film will most likely be the Substance.
