I’ve also managed structured procrastination - where the thing that I want to do is always open on my laptop so I’m ready to dive in at a moments notice, often when I should be doing something else instead.
That, and a massive todo list of tiny, tiny things to do - so you don’t have to think.

I’ve had *some* success with Pomodoro for everything I’m putting off. 25 minute chunks, with the specific agreement that you stop when the timer is up. Sometimes you’ll get in the groove, sometimes you won’t. That’s ok, you’ve achieved something anyway.
