Helped a friend clean out his storage garage, and he practically gifted me a tote filled with old Shonen Jump magazines

In decent condition, certainly readable, and there's a LOT of them here

First MVP on Uub, we rockin' and rollin'

Like jfc dudes

All GoDs down. Two players on both sides dead. A race to break the cases and get the ball first. I had a Lvl 13 Goku staring me dead in the eye as I snatched the Dragon Ball.

The closest game of Gekishin of my life, and I managed to get the Dragon Ball AND get MVP all at once.

Holy shit SSJ3 Goku and Toppo look sick as hell

Last update for now since I finished Moon Knight's stint in the West Coast Avengers

1. It was a LOT of fun! This series was great, from what I read, and I can see why the Wackos have the fanbase it does.

2. Introduces a surprising amount of integral Moon Knight concepts, like holy shit dudes

It's interesting that Khonshu basically took over Marc's body for half his stint as a West Coast Avenger. It was a subtle shift I didn't even realize was fully happening

Every chance he'd get, we listened to Kickstart my Heart by the Motley Crew

Local loser trauma dumps to furry, not knowing she's into that

Y'all ain't ever gonna find a better Krillin than I

Though despite this, Khonshu DOES consider Moon Knight to be his son, and Marc has reluctantly called Khonshu father on many occasions. Though it is the relationship of a God to his follower, rather than a direct line.

The big one. Moon Knight (2016) by Jeff Lemier and Greg Smallwood (with a host of others)

The climax between Marc and Khonshu that's been bubbling in the background for decades. Vol 1 and 3 are stellar, with so much to say about it all. Vol 2 dips for me, but damn is that final confrontation great.

Moon Knight Vol. 3 by writer Cullen Bunn, with Ron Ackins and German Peralta on art takes the book back to the episodic adventures, but with intentionally confusing messages of who, or what, Khonshu is.

The episodic adventures aren't as interesting as Vol 1's, but the connecting thread is engaging.

Vol 2. by writer Brian Wood and artists Greg Smallwood is a worthy follow up, keeping the vibes but transitioning to longform storytelling. I wasn't entirely engaged with the plot, but I really liked the dynamic between Marc and Khonshu here.

Moon Knight by Warren Ellis (bad person) and Declan Shalvey is still incredible. A revitalization for the character that returned him to his episodic roots, with a lot of deep cuts I was surprised to find this time around.

Nothing going on in the background, but damn is this book just INTERESTING!

Updated since I got through the "Re-reading" pile. As well, I rethought some feelings for some of these.

Now gonna go through West Coast Avengers for him

While reading last night, this dichotomy made me giggle. Jack really put on them pounds since the first time he met Moon Knight

I got to the Bendis run, and man, Bendis just didn't have it. Feels like the reason he made Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Captain America into alters was just so he had characters he ACTUALLY cared about to write. Nothing with Marc is interesting, and that sucks.

Alex Maleev art rocks though

I re-read through the Huston run of Moon Knight today, and damn, I enjoyed it LMAO

I've read this specific run three times, but this was the first time with ALL the context I'd need. It was way better for it.

Some thing don't age well, but the core of the story does and that's what matters.

BTWs, I still fucken got it
