I loved it. A minor goddess gets the upper hand in spite of the shitty Olympians and Titans (of whom were her family). Fucking awesome book. The unabridged audiobook was good too.

When I was 15 I had to leave a little town south of San Antonio because of death threats. This was back in 1986. I see not much, if anything, has changed. Be careful down there.

I think it was the shortest-lived of the seven ancient wonders. It fell during an earthquake after just 54 years atop a pedestal. It continued to exist as scattered fragments for centuries after its collapse. Supposedly it was sold for scrap and removed on the backs of camels.
