The Big Beautiful Bill, if current circumstances remain, will wreck our economy. It appears most non-MAGA economists agree with me. You can’t drive “the other 98%” into poverty & believe they will continue to be good consumers.

It’s fascinating that the U.S. stock market seems pleased with the Donald but the dollar is down 10% against other currencies. The answer seems to be that investors are aware of his propensity to make the wealthy wealthier. I see the prelude to another “Great Depression”.

A knowledge of history is necessary to understand how today is not all that different from our past. In the mid 1600’s there was revolution in England. The colonies were dramatically different, with southern colonies already headed for slavery and the northerners headed for more equality. Familiar?

It’s amazing to me that no one seems to understand what is currently happening, meaning politically of course. I have my theories if anyone is interested.
