This might have took me like at least twice longer because I was struggling to decide on a good background and another character, that has yet to appear, standing beside him. Plus, I wasn't really digging his design here all that much.
The image shows Mario walking on a treadmill, his large belly swaying forward as he grips the handles for support. He is visibly exhausted— mouth open, tongue out, and sweat dripping as he pushes himself through the workout. The background is a dark maroon minimalist gradient. There's lots of things Mario the Wolf Man did back in his salad days
