Like, if the Victorian Socialists, Legalise Cannabis, and AJP were making a serious attempt in the senate in Victoria, I would've thought they'd be running as many lower house candidates as possible.

AJP seem to be having difficulty at the moment. No candidate for Lalor either despite running in the Werribee by-election.

Anecdotal, but I'm seeing less "left wing" minor / micro parties running across the board this time around - not sure why.

The new "West Party" - that the independent from the by-election has / is forming is no where to be seen either.

Strange how an area can have 13 candidates in February but only 7 in April.

Ballot order is:

1. Greens
2. ALP
3. Family First
4. One Nation
5. Liberals
6. Independent
7. Libertarians

Yeah, pretty sure I answered "don't know" to that question - like, we shouldn't be subsidising fossil fuels but cost of living is a massive issue.
