Findings suggest that, even at a relatively low level of spread among the population, the SARS outbreak had a significant psychological and economic impact. They also suggest that the success of efforts to educate the public about the risk of SARS and appropriate precautions was mixed. Exactly. And aerosol infection continues to be ignored - just as Dr Semmelweis found hand washing reduced infection but was ridiculed

Frump's successor??? these people have been in a cult, following the rantings of a madman, a brilliant orator and a madman. i'm not sure what the phases are of surfacing from a cult, but my guess is there will be shock and rage, a ton of blame shifting and "yeah but...ing" and then the grief, maybe shame? i dunno. and i am not calling on people to embrace their inner Buddha...okay, maybe i am. but come up w/ some standard lines..."i'm so sorry...didn't see this coming." or just say nothing and keep cracking open another beer. we have to CATCH THEM if we are ever going to surface from this, if Frump is ever going to lose his power. he has to FAIL HIS FOLLOWERS for them to wake up from the trance, and when they do we have to be there else the wound festers and grows. we will all suffer along the way...but i believe it is the only way through this. this are very difficult days. <3

And of course the manufactured consent for nearly all of us to get repeatedly infected with COVID means that if there is some really bad decade-later outcome (see chickenpox:shingles, mono: MS, etc.), we are in serious trouble (or perhaps just don't have to worry about global warming anymore).

With COVID, of course, there's much less of a delay between initial infection, and the start of contagiousness as compared with AIDS. But we are only 5 years into finding out the 10 to 15 year effects of acute and/or chronic COVID infections (spoiler: already bad!)

One heck of an education indeed!

Looking at the symptoms from the acute stage of HIV infection, I am struck by how similar it is to the symptoms from the initial SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Yet no one thinks of HIV infection as ever being "mild".

Obviously, "I didn't read it" is the biggest problem we will have to overcome - but that is where armchair resistance (AKA likes and reskeets) is at its most effective.

If all the BlueResistors here will just amplify one message a day, our voices will be too loud to ignore.

Note that while you can use the virus.sucks web app (which connects easily to the #PlusLife unit via Bluetooth) for a full chart & time-remaining display, you don't have to. Without the app, you'll get a green (-) or red (+) indicator light (in addition to the blue power/testing light).

Cow Girl, we bought ours from the German distributor, using the discount code for COVID cautious folks (via the address at the bottom of the virus.sucks site), which also has a FAQ, and an analyzer app that connects to the #PlusLife. Ordered from altruan.com; about 2 weeks to arrive here in Ohio.
