Maybe RBR should petition the race director for a new interpretation of the rules.

These firms care only about profit but, more to the point, what purpose does legal standing have when the government has demonstrated no interest in accepting a judgement against them?

That schedule is no joke! Looking forward to Baltimore!

They waited too long and should have done a proper start for this snoozer of a race.

Are there any other available districts she can flee to?

Mediocre boy-adults with very little going for them in a society that values intelligence, altruism, diversity, tolerance and kindness. They'll lick any jackboot that prevents them from having to measure up.

This isn't really anything new. Kids have always looked for and found ways to work the system -- the smartest ones included. The bleakest part of this post is some of the excuses the students gave. I hope he failed them for the assignment.

I feel like we need an all-star season with just the curmudgeons from previous seasons.

DC show last night was absolutely phenomenal.

I took a shot at you after you took a shot at me. I only clarified the rules because you seem to want to apply them selectively. Seems it's not okay for the ref to miss a possible extra step but it's fine if a player is lying on the court and they don't bother reviewing how he got there. Cool.

Well, you appear to be both blind and thick so I have my work cut out for me. Please, watch the video (in the comments) of this "accidental" elbow....

Should Nique Clifford have been ejected? Colorado State guard draws Maryland fans' ire after elbowing Jordan Geronimo | Sporting News
Nique Clifford authored another epic display for Colorado State in the Round of 32. Maryland fans don't believe he should have been allowed to.

It was totally intentional and Clifford gone would have changed the game entirely. The "walk" was not called and no-calls cannot be reviewed. Flagrant fouls can but they ignored it.
March 24, 2025 at 4:20 PM
They missed ejecting Clifford for the intentional elbow to Geronimo's face, too, so call it even?

THIS is what the Dems should do during the address. Have prizes and noise-makers, too.

Give Basehead, "Play with Toys" a listen. That's one of the most punk rap albums I've ever heard. Of course, that's 90s stuff, but still...

They don't get credit for it - and they should - but I think they fused punk and rap as well as anyone. They were appropriately sardonic and, at least prior to Paul's Boutique, captured a punk sense of nihilism pretty well. Maybe Rubin gets the credit - dunno - but I hear it loud and clear.

Leave it to the "greatest country on Earth" to find every conceivable way to kill kids in perfectly preventable ways.

It's never not strange to me that Chumbawamba started in '82. You could make an argument that punk wasn't really punk by then but I completely get where you are coming from. As good as they are, you can probably throw Madness into that mix, too.
March 3, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Technically, they are and - prior to '83 - not half bad. They drifted firmly into pop starting with Labour of Love, however, and never really looked back. No Doubt has a very similar relationship with Ska.
