It depends... its way better than anything Bethesda came up with pretending to be Fallout... but its still nowhere near in quality to let say Witcher 3.. So, if you like Fallout world, NV is good for you, otherwise there are plenty of better RPGs out there (KCD2, W3, BG3 etc etc..)
