This is progress in the right direction from a communications standpoint but it needs to seep into policy making as well. Go back to the “safe and rare” language Bill Clinton campaigned on and limit abortion to the exceptional cases.
Woke up this morning remembering how, after Kerry's 2004 loss to W, the Democratic party and the press decided it was abortion's fault. When I tell you that this is not an exaggerated memory:

I think this is a smart move - Media has to read the times and readjust to meet people where they are. A large majority are with Trump (or apathetic about it) whether it is right, wrong or indifferent.
