What we find:

➡️Requests at helplines increased significantly by 34% with the first lockdown
➡️Requests at shelters increased by 14% only after the lockdown
👉This means: Women substituted ambulatory care with helpline calls during the lockdown

What I like most about publishing in BMJ Global Health:
Writing a reflixivity statement, which prompts authors to discuss issues around researcher positionality, local stakeholder engagement, North-South partnerships
