Damn, from what I'm seeing, accidentally selecting only "1 ticket" might have been a blessing in disguise.

They have made some improvements recently when shipping to EU, and are now supposedly prepaying EU VAT, which (after some math) makes them the cheapest option.
The new prices are so low, that they must be somehow ignoring JP VAT, which all other shops/services do pay.
Might be worth the risk/delay.
