i rarely watch local newscasts, or newscasts in general. i tend to stick to my own trusted online sources. i'd read a bit abt each 1 of these stories earlier in the day, but they were all 3 at the top of the 10pm report tonight. it was very disheartening & demoralizing to see them all in a row

i mistakenly assumed there was a level of peer-vetting going on among all of them, but now i'm guessing not. i understand that many of them may just be 1 rogue employee, but when that 1 rogue employee seems to tout the facist party line, it calls all the other info they're providing into question

i unfollowed that acct today when they blamed hamas for breaking the ceasefire after israel killed over 400--& injured even more--palestinian civilians in the past 24hrs. i had the sense that these accts were somehow peer-vetted, but apparently not

anything to avoid admitting that it was communists who beat the n*z*s

israel was still killing an average of two palestinians a day in gaza while forcing tens of thousands of people from their homes in the west bank while settlers continued their pogroms since the "ceasefire." israel never had any intention of abiding by it
