I’ve been saying the same thing. “They go low, we go high” only gets you so far. But when they go so low that going high doesn’t matter anymore, then you need to be able to get into the mud with them and do some slinging.

It really is tough to feel like your vote matters with things the electoral college, voter suppression, and gerrymandering actively going against the popular vote the majority of the time.

That’s fair. I agree with abolishing the electoral college. That would go a long way toward restoring voter confidence.
