Learning the meaning behind “gege” and SL/HC calling Xie Lian that KILLS ME ifs lost in English so I’m glad I looked it up bc the actual connotation of it is so much more endearing than “elder brother” …what a silly little man (he’s like 6’3)

The TGCF anime (s1) obviously had to leave out a lot of detail since it was 12 eps but almost done w novel 1 & it’s a shame so much context was cut out. The anime is initially very confusing bc of that. It’s still enjoyable but I’m glad i decided to read it bc there was a lot that wasn’t covered-

I haven’t read tgcf in a few days bc i was catching up on knh fanfic and tell me why i squealed and covered my face in my hands when hua cheng is first mentioned in the heavenly realm after the Ghost Groom arc as if I didn’t watch this in the anime like GIRL STAND UP (i wont)
