A playful onomatopoeia on the silent, audible act of staring—manga dialogue that says so much by saying nothing at all. The theme was also a light nod to Lichtenstein’s pop comic sounds, via manga. The sound on her face simply says, “Stare”.

I put down the sketch and inked the linework for a new pair of paintings I'm titling "XO"!

Revisiting a past illustration, with an homage to the iconic gyaru lifestyle magazine @new_eggofficial (ended print in 2014)! Keeping a cool tone of blues and magenta highlights on the classic school gal look and weighting with black shadows and stars.

Diving deep into colors and emotion with my latest landscape acrylic piece! 💖💙💜 The painting is about capturing a moment of quiet strength and inner peace. The girl at rest, bathed in vibrant light, holds a story within the smirk of her intensely red lips.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and support as I've dove into traditional painting mediums for the first time. I've been learning a lot in this first painting through accidents and mistakes, especially the value of prepping your canvas with gesso/sanding...

Painting acrylic for the first time, ever! Learning to appreciate the how much more challenging traditional mediums are compared to the convenience of digital art.
