Are there Wendy's in other parts of Australia already or is this a new development entirely?

Haven't played in a while but I do have it.

More or less.

A lot of people like having cumulative progression systems to go along with having to start a run from the beginning instead of starting completely from scratch.

what if they're from some other European country, or like, Irish

People are willing to excuse a lot of shit that's not good for them if they're being catered to in a way the rest of the gaming (or even media) market isn't.

One thing I've learned about this is that the elements that pull someone in enough to say these things (besides the F2P friendly bit) don't always have another game you can point to that is a regular game and also has most or all of the elements they're looking for in one package.

What if it was Higurashi again?

However, the situation the devs have found themselves in regarding the roster is... unfortunate, to say the least. Probably could have been mitigated to some degree, but as is, it's put a damper on people's perception of the game, consciously or subconsciously.

I think there has always been a certain expectation of the game from fighting game players specifically to leverage the absurd amount of characters League has in its roster to make a fighting game that is unique based on that more than any particular combination of mechanics the devs could choose.

I'm not that familiar with League myself, but I know enough from osmosis that they have some kits that would be facinating to see adaptes into a fighting game and it's a shame they're not pulling deeper into that pool. All of the characters so far besides 'Crank and Teemo are incredibly safe picks.

If there's any one criticism I would levy against the game at current, it's that it is leaning too much towards fufilling fighting game archtypes and not doing enough to make use of the weird character designs and kits that League has built up over the past decade and change.

A lot of this convo is reminding me of a video I ran into a while ago talking about positioning and control of a situation in 3D action games by Bone_Z. A lot of the topics seem basic, but it's good to go back to the fundamentals sometimes.

I feel like when you're playing it in singles, either offline or online, it's going to feel pretty run of the mill. Doubles is what makes the play experience stand out imo, especially if you're teaming up with someone that you vibe with.

Was it singles or doubles?

I would be judgy about Vanguard but I've been playing way too many games that do the same thing without throwing it in your face like Riot does so it would be kinda hypocritical for me to do so.
September 10, 2025 at 7:26 PM
thinking to myself "are these people insane or just don't see something in the game that grabs them enough to keep at it?"
September 10, 2025 at 12:38 PM
I think what irks me the most personally about these opinions is that they're also talking like the only way you could actually learn the game is to be unemployed or be a streamer and no-life the game
And I'm sitting here at like 500 hours working a regular 9-5 the entire time
