The guy was from TX and we did lament the state of the Big 10 and the SEC as well. Sadly he cannot fix conference alignment, but he did give me an account credit for my trouble. 🤷

Spent all of regulation on the phone with Xfinity. Best they can tell, it's erroneously blacked out in the Bay Area. (My brother is able to watch in SoCal.) The rep also asked me, "Wait, why is Stanford in the ACC?"

Yeah, we've basically found that it's a total crap shoot. I once had renters insurance cover a dog-related claim which is bananas, but basically everything else was just a coin flip.

I had a drainage-related basement flooding and found out through the claims process that my insurance only covered water coming from the house (pipes etc.) and not water coming in from "outside." 🥴 My insurance agent was also bewildered and it was her company's policy!
