Extra was mostly a byproduct of Warped being added, since Wind as a typing, especially on Power Aya, was extremely broken in the original release. So Warped was made to keep that in check, and Extra added so that you had a good distribution of Warped puppets, basically.

Murasa I definitely want to use whenever I do another run, haha. For me, it was like this (Aya as the starter). Up until Blazing Hell I was using Speed Youmu instead of Suwako, but I felt the team was way too unbalanced with her. XD

What was your final team, out of curiousity?

That's still a great one! Can recommend Extended, since that fanmod expands the game even more by quite a bit, but even base Shard of Dreams is good! (Heck, there even is a fanmod that adds Makura and Mehko from FMW, though I haven't played that one yet myself.)

Yeah, chances are the game will just make a decision for you then according to its own criteria. Main reason I'm curious is because as far as I remember, this is the only scenario in the game where it actually does matter who you defeat.

It actually made me curious how the game would handle it if you somehow manage to kill both at the same time (for example if you somehow use Yamame to get the two of them close to each other and then use a MAP attack to finish both off at once).
