First time I've seen an owl! There were two of them and they let me be pretty close. Amazing how silent they are, even when flying.

The 'I'iwi and 'Amakihi I saw on the Big Island. Just finding them was difficult, and my shots are rough. Still, I'm glad I was able to see them!

The Mejiro (Japanese white-eye). The first time I saw one was in Tokyo! They are also in Hawaii, I soon found out. They are small, swift moving birds, pretty cute.
