And then, just like that, it went. When I got up early the next morning with my baby at about 5 I stuck my head out again and saw it was still firing on the distance just before the sun started to rise. An amazing night #aurora #northernlights #nature

And then, just after my pjone had recharged a little, I went into the garden and looked up and was BLOWN away. This for me was more intense than the may show. Truly amazing eith visible pillars and beams across the sky you could see by eye. #aurora #northernlights

After standing in the field for an hour or so it started to reemerge slowly, and then a huge green curtain slowly appeared in the sky. My battery then died nooooooo so I headed home quickly #aurora #northernlights #nature

A couple of the #aurora #northernlights last month taken from my garden. I'd followed the stats with anticipation and thought this was going to the max that evening. Another burst was due later so I then headed out to a field around the corner. This is south Manchester, UK, so v bad light pollution
