In a one year span, I get looked at weirdly for not using AI.

Changing fast for sure

Yep…not excusing Robert, but I think he wants out of Chicago so bad

I write example essays to teach through - thus helps me understand the questions students ask, so I can talk about how I solved the issue

Yesterday, as one of my students talked about my example essay with another teacher, the teacher accused me of using AI, telling the student “we all use AI” 🤦🏻‍♂️

I use to average reading 1-2 books a month during the year. Since teaching AP Lang? Maybe 5-6 a year

Heavy and exhausting is about right

And now teachers are being told “let’s get students using A.I. more!” 🤦🏻‍♂️

This wins the day

But will they vote differently next time? It’s not like anything Republicans are doing right now wasn’t predictable.

It always feels like those demands are more for admins/instructional coaches who “might” walk into the room.

I do like to start class with a clear purpose on the board, but once the lesson starts, my students and I just focus on the actual lesson and not the board.

Used this book for seniors in high school - they loved it. They learned so much from it, and while deep themes it’s an easy read
