If I lived in Virginia, the second that Spanberger is sworn in as governor, I'd be demanding @kaine.senate.gov's resignation so she could replace him with someone who's actually aware of what is going on.

"Some flavors" is key. Lots of great work in cultural evol, cross-species etc. But how cognition influences political (or other) behavior, why do you need the (often tenuous at best) evol argument? To explain where biases come from? Cog theories (cap limits, effort cost etc) are good at this
