Why is Bluesky showing in my general feed, adults in diapers and latex (?!?) when I have quite obviously never sought out anything like that. Barely use the platform anyway but if it's gonna insist on putting this kind of weird shit into my feed, I am outta here.

So cross with this BBC / Trump situation that's blowing up, entirely because that grotesque human being says more than enough incriminating and illegal stuff WITHOUT the need to put words in his mouth. And now he has ammunition against the BBC. Such a stupid thing to have done by the Beeb :-/

Not gonna lie but reading just about any social media platform of late is starting to get overwhelming if you are someone thinks that the politics of the USA are absolutely not the direction we should be heading.

Well it's been a few days since I finally took the step of deleting my Twitter account. I miss a few feeds / accounts, and occasionally muscle-memory load the site before I realise I can't login any more but I can't say I am actually missing it. Kinda wish I had done it sooner.

Already starting to get followed by lots of what appear to be bogus accounts.. the worst of Twitter is already starting to spread onto this platform. The block button is already getting some action!

Successfully replaced the dying battery on my Superb this afternoon.. was apprehensive due to having to code it to the car but with a decent Autel scanner / coding tool it took all of two minutes. I finally have working stop/start for the first time since buying the car! Old battery was hashed!

Who knows how long it will stay like this but Bluesky has the feeling of being like Twitter but from 15 years ago.. where it was mostly just people conversing, rather than what it's become now.. people picking lumps out of each other. It's extremely refreshing to return to this kind of discourse.

First steps to try and get myself away from Twitter.. just can't continue to use that platform considering everything! Now to see how many folks I follow on Twitter, post on here..
