And here's a flag that sent out to Cold Lake AB. They liked the original ones, that I did, but wanted something smaller that they could keep inside. Maybe put in a window. So this one is @ 12" x 24". And, since it may live in a window I painted the Maple Leaf on the back...

In fact, after the 4th mistake, I decided that this would look real good down at Rick's place. And you know what? It did.

Well, it's July again. And with July comes posting season. This year I have once again been asked, by 426 Squadron, to provide plaques for the out going Command Team. I must say that it's an honour to be asked and a pleasure to play some small part in the squadron's CoC.

Here is something that my cousin asked me to do for his step son. For those of you who are not familiar, 7th Step is a program for offenders and ex-offenders that helps them make changes to tier lives.

There's something a little bit different. A stylized snow plow. I friend of mine in Dartmouth showed me a picture and asked "Can you do something like this?" So, I tried some thing like that. And this it.

Well I don't think that I be getting many requests for this one. It doesn't seem to have age particularly well.

This one is for the "other" Jim Sullivan. (Or, as Pat likes to refer to him; "The Jim Sullivan with hair".) He wanted something to commemorate his time, "Maintaining the Way" with CPR.

This is representation of my cap badge. Or rather the cab badge that I wore for almost all of my career. For those not familiar with the military, this cap badge indicates that you are a member of the Signals/Communications Branch.

Any hockey fans out there? Here's something that I did a few months ago. This is for the sister's husband's brother's wife. I guess they spend a fair bit of time, (particularly during the winter), in Nevada and are pretty big Golden Knights fans.

This from a few months back. I had just finished up a couple sets of wings. It just happened that, this time, they both were Flight Engineer Wings. And they both went down east. The first set went to Moncton and the second to Greenwood.

A couple weeks ago I got a text from 426 Sqn. They said that, during an event, a gust of wind had knocked their Totem over. And that it had sustained a bit of damage. They asked if I could have a look at it. Well I didn't have anything else planned, that day. So, why not?

A while back I noticed that my pile of end-cuts was starting to get, out of hand. So I tossed most of the smaller bits. But I had enough longer pieces that I was able to glue up a blank... I really didn't have any plan for it. So I set the blank in a corner and promptly forgot about it.

Here is one of my latest carving. These are the wings that RCAF Navigators used to wear. Navs could still wear them, I suppose. That's if they were still called "Navs". Now they are called "Air Combat Systems Officers". Obviously who OKed that nomenclature change did not foresee a 300 character limi
