not defending this bs, but at least when I went through yesterday afternoon, pontch was closed to general traffic between 7 and McNichols, so taking the lane was very chill. But if its open to general traffic, a giant bucket of f this.

I know the MDOT engineers made predictions on slow downs as a result during rush hour (in terms of seconds lost). I'm curious if they even bothered to come back and measure it.
