I've made hundreds of hours of music over 20 years that has gone either totally ignored or I just never released it. It's art that exists entirely because I love making it. At this point I'd panic if I got more than a few people interested

My dad saying this morning that he worries sometimes about the wind knocking this thing off balance and in turn down the hill doesn't feel so good

Not bad. I'd have liked to play it louder but the ps5 headphones in controller volume was at its max. I miss having an actual tv

Just muted the central offender's name. It's too much. Sometimes you have to step back from the horrors

Ha yeah there's so much sound effect and music grabbing in those Hong Kong films. One Shaw Brothers production has an instrumental version of You Only Live Twice! I think it might be a One-Armed Swordsman film

I think you'd be very into this one, sorry if you've already seen it bsky.app/profile/jimr...
Watching Heroes Shed No Tears (1980, Chor Yuen) and it's wonderful. This wuxia plot I really can't get my head around but it feels special in how everything looks and the movement. Got to finish this in the morning. Every scene looks like some kind of heaven. The fights are so good as well!

Chor Yuen really did make the prettiest films of the Shaw Brothers directors. That camera through leaves trick he returns to in so many films always makes me smile
