Which ones don't? And while I'd disagree with those who might not want to I get that there's in fact so much TO talk about with Trump and the GOP it kind of is kind of hard to settle on just one thing.

Indeed it would be better. But we'd still be in crisis because press and pundits would be covering every Republican complaint with the same -- if not more -- urgency as Trump's inhumanities are being covered now.

Unfortunately, it wasn't just Trumpers pretending things were terrible. In the debate, Harris wasn't even allowed to say America was better off than 4 years ago. Incredible. Mainstream media just as culpable as MAGA, maybe moreso.

Old guard does need to stay in the back (I don't think they could be out front if they wanted to). But unless they're going to Mara Lago or getting chummy with Bannon, I just don't think we have the luxury of shutting anyone out.

If anyone is driven away from opposing the scourge of humanity because Biden wants to help raise a few bucks -- which is pretty much all he's capable of doing -- we're in worse shape than I thought, which is pretty darned bad.

Fine. He may not be much if any help but at least he won't be going to Mara Lago with Fetterman or doing podcasts with Bannon like Newsome. Not seeing the harm. Just need more Bernies and AOCs.
