My own experience suggests that most people, including professionals who should know better, equate ADHD with 'sheer naughtiness' However, I've known plenty of ADHD kids (& adults) who work hard to regulate themselves, and self-police their behaviours, consequently they don't 'trigger' the 'alarms'

In the past I've used both OpenOffice and LibreOffice; both are compatible with MS Word - personally not a fan of Google Docs
